2018 Collaboration Team Roles

Core Collaborators

Core Collaborators assist in steering the overall creative vision. Serving as the core leadership team, Core Collaborators help ensure the foundation is laid for funding, session programming, and attendance efforts, and are dedicated toward helping the conference grow annually. We ask all of our Core Collaborators to attend as many meetings as possible, especially the November and January meetings when we hash out major strategies (see schedule below). If you cannot attend a meeting, see if you are able to phone in or share any updates you have through a Basecamp message. In March, monthly meetings will transition to monthly conference calls. Two free tickets to the event will be given to those who can sell at least 6 tickets and secure 2 sponsors (or $1,000) toward the cause in addition to the following responsibilities and benefits:

Responsibilities

  • Share creative ideas

  • Establish connections for potential speakers and sponsors

  • Liking, commenting and sharing Cause Collab social media posts

  • Attend monthly core collaboration meetings and general collaboration meetings

  • Secure a minimum of 2 sponsors or $1,000

  • Sell at least 6 event tickets

Benefits

  • 2 Event tickets to Cause Collab

  • Recognition across all Cause Collab social networks, written and online promotional materials (as relevant among messaging and materials)

  • Opportunities for speaking or sharing business materials at event

  • Headshot displayed on collaboration team page of the Cause Collab website (3 word bio and social link)

  • Spotlight story featured through Facebook and Instagram

  • Opportunities to shape and steer the strategic, creative vision for the event’s growth

  • Opportunities to connect with like-minded people and organizations

Supporting Collaborators

Supporting Collaborators simply help share ideas and make meaningful connections to secure session programming speakers, sponsors, and help drive attendance. We ask all Supporting Collaborators at least attend 1-2 meetings. If you feel your talents would be best used toward promoting the event and driving attendance, we recommend coming to the February meeting. If you feel your talents would best be used for establishing connections among speakers and/or sponsors, we recommend you attend one or two of the other meetings. As you have progress updates, please share through a message in Basecamp. A free ticket to the event will be given to those who can sell at least 3 tickets toward the cause in addition to the following responsibilities and benefits:
